Forest engineer with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Forest Ecology, Gabriel has held academic positions at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and the University of São Paulo (USP). His expertise includes dendrochronology, as well as the quantification and analysis of the effects of climate change on carbon sequestration in tropical forests, making him an essential contributor to environmental projects in Monte Verde. His academic background and research experience play a crucial role in advancing the company’s forest restoration and carbon fixation initiatives, ensuring that all projects are scientifically grounded and environmentally effective.

President of Monte Verde and a highly qualified forest engineer. He holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in agronomy with a specialization in plant protection. Willian has extensive experience in the field of reforestation, having contributed to the restoration of more than 150 hectares of forest. His work focuses on providing services to companies involved in forest restoration and carbon fixation, including partnerships with organizations like The Nature Conservancy. Willian’s leadership and expertise play a crucial role in the success of Monte Verde environmental initiatives, particularly in reforestation and ecosystem recovery efforts.
